May is here, and for those of us in the Northern Hemisphere we are letting spring pass us by as summer approaches. What better way to enjoy the fresh seasonal air then staying inside and seeing what’s on Game Pass? Microsoft just delivered their May update for what we can expect in the first drop this month, and there’s two heavy hitters and a bunch of smaller gems.
Let’s start with the big ones, as Forza Horizon 6 revs up for a day-one launch on May 19. This is the next game in the Forza Horizon series, and the 14th in the greater Forza franchise, this time taking players to a stylized Tokyo across an open world map full of racing and cars – over 550 to be specific. The latest in Forza will be available to subscribers on the Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass plans.
If you’re looking for a more hands-on adventure, Subnautica 2 launches in Early Access on May 14, available to subscribers of both the Ultimate and PC Game Pass tiers. Currently the most wishlisted game on Steam, Subnautica 2 returns players to the underwater survival of the first game, with huge new biomes to explore, creatures to discover, and… feedback to give! It is Early Access, after all.
