The single player is a bit boring and the multiplayer can be a huge piss off but it can still be fun at times. Not the best MMO out there imo.
The single player mode starts out in Tortage. You are there for 20 levels then leave the place and are able to play multiplayer. A nice touch. Problem is one you are in a server players can pvp you for no reason. There is no reason for them NOT to kill you either so you end up getting killed by some looser who started playing before you. There's also no reason why players should pvp you. It all about ruining the other players experience while trying to level up. Things only start to get interesting when you reach like level 35 or above. Anything below that you can't even see a difference.
There are culture servers. Not played on those but I hear its illogcal that you can't fight people of your cultuer. What's up with that? Items don't break or wear out, which seems like a standard in most games but not in Age of Conan. And skills improvement is very confusing.
You start off with quite a bit of skills, so that's good. Graphics are pretty awesome. It doesn't have the same insentives to continue playing the game like in other MMOs like WOW. Items you get from missions are pretty forgettable.
One good thing is the dev team is listening to the players. They are improving things, so the game has great potential.

GRAPHICS
Nice graphics but you need pretty high specs
GAMEPLAY
Game is hard on newcomers. This is a pvp game. Unless you are barbarian don't bother
PRODUCTION
Hard to say. Seems like the game was rushed. It's not a finished product
SOUND
Sound is great. Chosen perfectly for this type of game
LASTING APPEAL
Its an mmo, so it will last you a long long time, too long probably
