What a dissapoitment, as usual from Lucas

Linear, repetitive fighting, uninspiring maps

Man what a disappointment. All this is is running around throwing lightning bolts and looking for holocrons you can never find completely. But I’m not surprised, this is a LucasArt game. Since when was a SW game good? They are all about hype. And don’t say KOTOR is an awesome game, it sucked! It was Neverwinter Nights in space. Same engine, same gameplay, different graphics. SW games should NOT be linear action games. They should be open ended action games like StarWars Galaxies.

Force Unleashed is so linear its sad. So what if it has nice graphics. All ps3/xbox360 games have nice graphics. Get with the program. Release something original! SW is supposed to be about originality. Its supposed to be about aliens and awesome technology and stuff. This was a run of the mill action game, except you have a light saber and recognizable settings, which I don’t much care about. I prefer games with gameplay and this one had some lame ass gameplay. Ok, so this guy is supposed to be this super strong jedi. He can bring down a stardestroyer with the force, from like 10 miles away, but in the actual game there are guys you can’t choke? Or there are guys you can’t chock or grab unless you are like 10 feet from them? What happened to you being able to bring down a starship? Seriously. Lucas, you’re an old man. Leave video games alone. Hell, leave movies alone too. You got lucky with the first SW movie (which I hear you directed), then the next 2 you didn’t direct, that’s why they were good. Then the new movies you direct and they suck. Just give up! Just do your little dreaming and leave the production and directing to smarter people! Or just stick to your SW flight or racing games like Rogue Squadron. Its the only thing you ever make that’s decent.

SW: The Force Unleased sucks. Avoid it to teach that rich fathead Lucas a lesson that we won’t buy just any crap with the SW name on it.
