The sequel was first confirmed in late 2024, but this is the first official look at the project since then. This 25-second clip is titled “False Sense of Security,” and it immediately sets the distinct Alien dark and tense feeling, giving players their first real look at the game’s atmosphere.
The teaser starts with a camera slowly zooming in on a dark, locked sliding panel door. Once the light changes from red to green, the door opens and reveals a rain-drenched outdoor area, suggesting that darkness will once again be at the center of the experience. The video description also includes the phrase, “A feeling of being safer than one really is,” hinting that the sequel may challenge the safety players felt at save stations in the original
One of the most important details is the classic save station shown in the background, which strongly suggests that the sequel will bring back the tension-building mechanics of the first game.
